Maintaining your home means looking after the appliances which give you hot water and central heating. With boiler cover, you can ensure that your boiler and heating system is regularly checked for faults.
If you have a breakdown then you know that help will be hand quickly and you won’t have to worry about repair bills.
British Gas have four HomeCare policies that cover a basic boiler service up to a plumbing, electrics and drains plan, giving you comprehensive cover for your heating and water.
They have a boiler breakdown cover for repairs to your boiler and the controls. This doesn’t include an annual boiler service.
British Gas also offer a Central Heating Breakdown Cover which includes repairs to your boiler and repairs to your central heating system. This doesn’t include an annual boiler service either.
Both of these services have a policy excess of £60 or £99. You can also choose not to have an excess but this will increase the cost of the policy.
The British Gas website is easy to use and has plenty of information about each of their cover plans. You can also read their blogs which give out useful tips and advice about all sorts of topics.
British Gas also have an app that you can download on an Android or IOS device. You can use the app to make payments, track how much energy you’re using at home and keep a service record.
